’Evelyn and Catherine, on the cusp of womanhood, decided one solitary night to encapsulate their love life; “But how?” was the question. Evelyn and Catherine eventually decided to use the idea of an auction to inspire their cathartic revelation, creating a definitive response to the moaning women of the upper echelons of New England. What was born that night was a goose egg saturated with conversation hearts, epitomizing the new found knowledge that the egg was their lives, and the love that was received and projected, surrounded them.’
