Diane deGroat is the author-illustrator of the “Gilbert and Friends” series. Roses are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink was the first of thirteen books about that beloved opossum Gilbert. She is also the author and illustrator of the Annie Pitts chapter books. After using watercolor paint for her illustrations for over 35 years, she switched to digital art for her latest book, Dogs Don’t Brush Their Teeth!
