Barbara D. Newton has pursued dual careers of teaching art and producing art. She has taught in the public schools of Orange County, NY and worked as a docent at the Hood Museum of Dartmouth College. Her work is represented in numerous private collections as well as public institutions including Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital and Frisbie Hospital. Locally, her work is shown at Long River Studio in Lyme, NH.
