Great Goose Egg Auction Followup

On May 13, 2000, we auctioned off 131 eggs, donated by artists, authors, illustrators, and others.

We raised $18,175 for the support of Open Fields School. Approximately $12,000 came from bidders at the auction; $3,500 from bidders on the phone (thanks to 21st Century Communications); and the rest from absentee bids left at the auction or submitted via our website.
