Wendell Minor is nationally known for the artwork he has created for over fifty children’s books, some of which he also authored. His collaborators have included Jean Craighead George, Charlotte Zolotow, Mary Higgins Clark, and astronaut Buzz Aldrin. He continues to work with Robert Burleigh, Tony Johnston, and his wife Florence, to name a few. A catalog of Wendell Minor’s America, his retrospective exhibition featuring 25 years of his children’s book art, is available through the Norman Rockwell Museum.
