Nest Eggs, Alma Chaney

In my paintings, I adapt an ancient medieval and Renaissance drawing technique, metalpoint, for use in my abstract, contemporary paintings. Adapting and using traditional Japanese materials and techniques for this project nicely complemented my usual studio practice.
