This year’s egg is from Wendell and Florence’s book, If You Were a Panda Bear, to be published in 2013.
Wendell Minor has illustrated fifty children’s books. His collaboration with his wife Florence, If You Were a Penguin, was the 2009 selection for Pennsylvania’s “One Book, Every Young Child” early literacy program. In 2013, a twenty-five year retrospective book of his children’s picture book art, Wendell Minor’s America, will be published by the Norman Rockwell Museum in conjunction with their exhibition of his art.
